Choosing a venue is one of the most important decisions you'll make when it comes to planning your big day. Finding the right venue, however, can be a challenge. As you begin scheduling tours and meet-and-greets with local venues, there are a few things you'll want to inquire about that you may not have thought to ask, but that should ultimately influence your decision.
How Early Will I Have Access?
If you'll be doing any extensive decorating of the venue, make sure your contract includes plenty of time to do so before guests will start arriving. Some venues may allow you to come in the night before to handle your decorations if they don't have any other events going on, whereas others may not be able to accommodate time for decorating until a few hours before your event.
Is a Day-Of Coordinator Included?
Having a day-of coordinator can make your wedding day go smoothly with minimal stress and worry on your part. Specifically, a day-of coordinator will make sure that everything goes according to your wedding plan and timeline. Coordinators can also help direct vendors as they arrive at the venue so you don't have to.
